Front Desk staff was terrific, very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome, she deserves a raise

Only decent hotel available on short notice.
Too far from decent restaurants. The Smitty's next door was a big disappointment. I don't expect gourmet from a Smitty's, but got chicken wings which were not fully cooked followed by a hockey puck burger served by a waiter who could not keep orders or bills straight in spite of the restaurant being almost empty.

The manager, Pat, was both professional and approachable. She ensured that our stay was very enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was generous and tasted good, with a significant variety of quality food choices. The availability of a BQ for our use made for a nice change for our evening meal. The rooms are a bit fatiqued, but beds are comfortable and rooms are clean and more than adequate. Great value overall for the money, and we would book in again in the future.

Breakfast was excellent. We left some shoes in the hotel and had a message on our machine before we arrived at home. Fortunately we still had family in the area willing to pick them up or I am sure we would have made other arrangements.
It was a full hotel so we had to park on the other side of the building, but we can walk - it was good . We will stay there again when we are visiting family in the area.

Breakfast was good
The shower leaked all over the floor. We needed two towels to mop it up. Out of the three rooms our group booked, this was the case for two of them. Also, the bathroom door would not shut. This hotel was only $10 cheaper than the Super 8, but the quality was much worse. Definitely overpriced.
